Start of the shift stage 5

Once the painting is completely dry I can start on the interior shapes. These are to be relatively dark so my base mix is French ultramarine and burnt umber, with the occasional dip of Cobault violet. I paint the window pains taking care to vary the wash and then travel own through the interior leaving the first wash to stand as table tops etc. Before this wash is dry I place some stronger wet in wet shapes to suggest details. Once this is dry, I suggest the chairs and also make a start on the Chiefs.
